The entire evening was absolutely fantastic, from the amazing service, fabulous food and drinks. If you like Indian cuisine, then this tapas style menu is truly amazing and definitely worth a visit! I for one will definitely be going back ..
Clientele ranged from families, couples and groups of young people, really proving that this restaurant has something for everyone. It’s an informal sports bar, a chilled place to meet, eat and pass some time. larger range of spirits than I was expecting too.
The best kebabs (indian styled) in Southampton. Hands-down. They have an eclectic indian menu with the chef’s take on many of the best indian ‘street’ foods. The minced lamb kebab is unlike anything I’ve ever had before (and I’m a picky indian eater). Another dish with a twist was the ‘chaat’ with lots of crunchy pomegranate goodness.

Second time dining here and once again it was an excellent experience. The dishes are presented beautifully but more importantly taste delicious. Different menu to last time as it changes seasonally but equally impressive. Lovely atmosphere. Indian fine dining that’s fully plant based.
Went out for a wonderful meal this evening with the family. If you want great tasting authentic indian food then I highly recommend! The host was super friendly and accommodating, also told us about the save the soil movement which was very interesting. The food looks wonderful, fresh from the kitchen and is delicious. Great prices and portions. Was a very enjoyable evening and we shall be coming back again.
Whether you are a committed vegan looking for a totally unique dining experience or you are a meat eater who is sceptical about trying plant-based food and needs to be convinced by something out of this world, then do give Késarum a try.

My vegan cousin visited and we wanted to do something special for him so we tried Baboo Ji for the first time. The vegan options were ample and very tasty, and we left satisfied. Our meal was also very good value for money. The raita and saag aloo in particular were spectacular. I have a nut allergy and I really appreciate the care the staff handled that with.
I was a couple of times in Babaji in Boscombe. Loved the food and service was good. Had a lovely time. The only confusion is I made a booking and it turned out that I made reservation in Babaji in Southampton but only because the Boscombe restaurant is very new and they don’t even have website and it’s not even on google.
Great little quaint place. Friendly staff and food was of a very good standard. Portion sizes were slightly smaller than I expected but it tasted great.
