First class, professional service. Michael knows his stuff! Knew exactly what was needed, super friendly with my nervous doggies who were quickly put at ease. End result .wow! They exceeded my expectations. I will not be going anywhere else herein, as well as amazing products on sale and wholesome raw food options fantastic one stop doggy shop.
Absolutely fantastic groomer! Our 4 month old Jack Russel is still nervous around new people and hates baths. It was hard enough getting him in the shop. Michael took so much time with him, getting him comfortable, lots of treats! He came back like a new puppy, clean, smelling fresh and in such a good mood! Could not recommend this groomers enough.
We had the best experience with barks and Bubbles after a previous groom elsewhere ruined our dog Derek’s coat. Michael was able to fix the coat as much as he could and was able to get him looking fab again! We’re so thankful for the effort and the amazing job he did and can’t wait to come back next time.

Like many people who train as a pet groomer, it’s a second career. My first one being a graphic designer (which I still do at k-creative). As a child I was always interested in animals and looked at working with them as a career. But decided I wasn’t intelligent enough to be a vet and it was too hard to make a living working with horses. Trixie and Bess were two collie cross dogs which I grew up with during the 1970s. Trixie was my grandparents dog and Bess her daughter, who belonged to my aunt and uncle. Trixie wasn’t supposed to have puppies, but she had a habit of taking herself for a walk down to the beach in Paignton and wasn’t spayed (this was the 1970s remember). She had three puppies, two boys and Bess which my aunt and uncle kept.

Kirsty is one of the fewest groomers who can handle our super-difficult-to-groom dog. She is understanding and lets me and my husband be with him during the session as she understands how challenging it can be to handle him alone – even though he is always on calming tablets whenever she comes for a home grooming session! Her grooming studio is also lovely and super tidy – loved it when we popped in there for a quick grooming. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
Kirsty is a very kind & patient dog groomer. She has been coming to us for 3+ years now & I’ve never been disappointed with her work. Our little schnauzer always feels better & happier after her grooming session. I would highly recommend Kirsty, she’s a lovely lady.
Very happy with the excellent job that Kirsty did grooming our cat Dylwyn. He had some dreads and one big matted area that we had given up trying to fix ourselves. He was very calm throughout most of his treatment which speaks volumes as he can get pretty aggressive when we try to treat him at home. It was done quickly and efficiently and with so much care and attention. It’s great to know we have someone we can trust to do such a good job in case it’s needed again. Absolutely recommend Kirsty 100%.
