What We Offer:

BTC Rowing Club has been the heart of the Itchen River since 1927. Our members regularly compete at local, national and international levels. We welcome new members of all abilities, minimum age 11. We have an experienced coaching team ready to offer their skills and support to help you achieve your rowing or coxing goals. As a community club we’re always looking for ways to further our ties with our local community.  This can either be through our goal “to promote health, fitness and the benefits of team participation through the sport of rowing to people of all ages, experience and ability levels, with an emphasis on youth development” or getting involved in charity work. We’re always welcoming new members, whether they are new to the sport of rowing; relocating into the area; back from university for the summer; or are coming back into the sport after a longer break.

Rowed there as a 16 year old in 1999-2009. I would advise anyone with kids to bring them here as it will teach them team work, discipline & that hard work really pays off. I went on to achieve great things in the club, traveled all over the south coast & had a great time doing it but most importantly it taught me great life lessens that I believe helped me in the success of my own business
Great little place. Lovely staff especially the new lady who poured a mean pink gin.
Handy little function room for hire at a very reasonable price. Nearby parking which I think is pay and display. It not massive so you wouldn’t be able to have massive parties here.

Exquisite hidden location with very rustic beauty. Fantastic gardens, this is very well kept and run, but a secret treasure. Only available for private events so not very easily accessible. Though near to M11 A14 and a428 you can hear none of it! Very peaceful grounds.
I can not praise this beautiful venue enough.My daughter was lucky enough to have her wedding here on Saturday and it was absolutely amazing.From start to finish the staff that looked after us were fantastic and professional.
An absolutely wonderful venue for weddings,corporate events or private functions.The atmosphere at Childerley is special and the historic 16th century grounds and buildings are waiting to be enjoyed. The five acres of gardens surrounding the main house help to support an elephant charity,

Ever since I have been in Southampton I have marvelled at this stunning building. It stands opposite the Red Funnel terminal close to the Dancing Man brewery.
Before renovating, did anyone take photos of the walls in the cellar bar?? There’s a lot of history from the RAF down there and I’d like to have had it preserved!! I expect it’s gone now!
