I’ve been living in the UK as a foreign student more than 5 years and he is the BEST landlord I’ve ever met. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Safe neighbourhood, close to the city centre. Room is spacious. Kitchen and bathroom are sanitary. Highly recommended!
Very clean, comfortable & easy self check in. Great communal kitchen with complimentary cereals, biscuits, tea & coffee. Shower & toilet spotless. Easy walk from railway station & not far to cruise terminal.
Luke was extremely helpful, kind and thoughtful when assisting me with re booking. The property was beautifully presented, clean and spacious rooms. Lounge area was comfortable and clean, kitchen was well equiped, tea, coffee and biscuits were available. Was a lovely stay, would definitely return to the property if needed to stay in Southampton.

What We Offer:

With a selection of 10 extremely comfortable rooms (7 en suite room and  3 rooms with shared bathrooms)  our perfectly positioned guest houses, with free parking for up to six cars,  are a very short walk to The Mayflower Theatre, the Bedford Place area of Southampton with its restaurant’s & bars  and only a 7 minute walk to Southampton Central railway station. There are endless possibilities to enjoy Southampton and explore the surrounding areas of The New Forest or perhaps take a trip to The Isle of Wight on the famous Isle of Wight ferry! A particularly popular trip for Cowes week and the famous Cowes Week firework extravaganza. We also offer generous breakfasts to either eat in or take away, with our home-made cake on the side!

Very helpful. Rooms are clean with kettle and fridge. Separate shower and toilet is used by other guests. Ideal budget endish accommodation. Well worth considering. Can be very popular year round. Central location, 15 minute walk to train station. Limited parking at the front off the road.
Clean rooms. Friendly bloke covering for the owner. No breakfast served. Tea and coffee available in room. Fridge and microwave in room. No plates/bowls/cutlery though in room. Stayed in the Garden room, which backed onto the pub carpark and rear pub garden. Very noisy due to pub staying open till 1am, we stayed Friday and Saturday nights. Didn’t sleep much the Friday night due to noise and needing window open. Nice location for walking to the station and into town if you like a walk.

Lovely pretty embellishment from the outside , well kept flowers and drive , as well as a lovely courtyard garden inside is bright and modernly tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean , lovely showers , basic amenities in each room mircowave ,fridge kettle tea and coffee, hosts and all staff really friendly

Perfect customer service and very well maintained comfortable, good location. Amazing night stay.

A standard, basic B&B but I can truly say clean, tidy and certainly a comfortable nights sleep – what more do you need? Landguard House represents good value for money.
Lovely place. We’re just stayed one night. Oh jeez it’s been well over 50 years since we slept in single beds lol just like being back with our parents.
