Absolutely fantastic. We hadn’t visited here in a few years and WOW, it was amazing. The specials list was a great mix and reasonable prices. The crab was the perfect temperature and the mussels were bang on. My desert stole the show though; Winter Eton Mess. The flavour and texture profiles were incredible, truly tasted like autumnal bliss. Will have to try and recreate it at home as it’s rare I find a desert where the concept is so novel and so good. Extra bonus was that the atmosphere and staff were both lovely too.

Very high quality food and great service. We had the calamari and the mussels and it was really good. Nice to sit outside on a sunny day.

I had a nice conversation with the owner, once during the meal and once on our way out. Would definitely return, especially as the menu changes as the seasons change and availability to local produce.

Went here as a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday. Small place, but tables were well spaced and staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal, despite the tables all being full. Good choice of food between the menu and specials board. One of our groups mains were delayed, staff were very apologetic and this was taken off our bill without even complaining, which was appreciated. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and the flavours and portion sizes were great value for money. The chef and owner Tim and his apprentice came round at the end of our meal to check everything was OK, it was a nice touch. Nice to see a little business like this doing well, they clearly care about their customers. I’m sure we’ll be back! Definitely worth a visit if you are contemplating it.

What a find. Fresh fish rules here. Delightful salmon crayfish avocado starter, and mains were fish specials off the board. Fish cooked perfectly, simple flavours, good ingredients and really good value for @£15 for a main.

An amazing little restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, very attentive and food to die for. Couldn’t believe the price for the quality of the food and they certainly don’t stint on the quantity. Can’t tell you what the pudding are like because I had no room for one. You MUST book, all tables were reserved. Photos represent 2 starters and 2 mains.

The food is delicious and the daily specials are worth noting down. We ordered the lobster pasta from the specials and it was amazing! Waiters are super attentive and friendly as well. We were sat outside but they constantly came out to ask how we were doing. Highly recommended, worth a visit.

Excellent hospitality and gorgeous food! We visited today for the first time, and we were taken by the atmosphere and ambience of the bistro. Very relaxing, romantic, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We had garlic bread, the veal escalopes and rib eye steak mains, and for dessert: tiramisu and chocolate tart. Beautiful flavours and everything cooked to perfection. Cannot fault it, and will definitely be returning.

Discovered this place on our first visit to Southampton and we were delighted! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We received a warm welcome by our waitress Nina who was very friendly and helpful. I ordered king prawn linguine which were delicious, so flavorful and the prawn were perfectly cooked. My partner had the sea bass which he really enjoyed. We also ordered scallops as an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious, just melting in your mouth. And the tiramisu..it was just perfect! The atmosphere was so romantic with the dim lights and the nice decor. We would definitely come back/
