We are registered with Southampton City Council and have Public Liability Insurance. We also hold a level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate and Allergy Awareness certificate. Each cake is made using the finest ingredients, without preservatives, to ensure your cake not only looks amazing but tastes amazing too. Our Gallery has many examples of cakes previously made by us. I have been awarded at Cake International London and Cake International Birmingham. A very proud moment was when I was not only nominated as a Finalist at the Cake Masters Awards but WON the Cake Masters Award in the collaboration category with some of the most amazing edible artists in the industry. I won this prestigious and sought after award as part of an International Collaboration to raise awareness and fight for endangered animals. Our Edible Animal artwork was showcased at Cake International NEC Birmingham, featured in the National Press and even received a letter from Sir David Attenborough who praised our work and efforts to highlight the plight of animals threatened with extinction.

Martha made us 120 cupcakes for our wedding including gluten free and vegan options and all our guests said how beautiful and delicious they were. We had a huge selection and they were perfect and to top it off Martha is so lovely! Martha made a wonderful cake for my wife’s birthday. I couldn’t find anyone else in Cambridge who would make a strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting, her favorite. Martha was very accommodating and worked closely with me to create a fantastic cake.

And with lovely, attentive service, to boot: Martha was ultra responsive via email and text, readily offering suggestions and sharing detailed cake descriptions. What We Offer:

Owner Claire has been creating Cakes for people and businesses in the Southampton area for the last 15 years and has recently taken on the cake workshop in 2020. Claire is great at bringing peoples visions to life. Take a look at the gallery for examples of Claire’s work or Cake workshop’s Facebook page for some great reviews. Claire also has the facilities to provide personalised Cake toppers and photo cakes. The shop itself was the first celebration cake shop of its kind in Southampton, it has recently undergone renovations giving it a more modern feel. The shop also sells cake decorating supplies to the home baker, pop in to view its range of ribbons, glitters, boards, boxes and much much more. We are a small family run local business, we care about each and every cake we make. We love to hear your feedback and love to see peoples reactions when they are collecting.

We called the lady who has the shop and ordered a Bluey cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. I emailed her a couple of photos I found online of what I wanted and she delivered a beautiful cake!
So glad I found this place two years ago. Only cake shop I use. Highly recommend her. Her prices are very reasonable but the cakes are to die for. She’s very polite, friendly and helpful
