Anchor fish bar is a Family run business with 25 year in the trade we were presented with the opportunity to run anchor since 2013. We use the best Msc Certified line-caught fish we use British grown Marris piper potatoes which we peel and chip freshly every morning. our doner kebab are specially made for us using the best ingredients. Our fried chicken is made with care and love I am sure if tried it will be appreciated also we have many yummy side dishes that are a must to try. with the finest fish and chips as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere making a truly memorable experience for our customers. We’re continuously working in the background on our social media presence, trying out new ingredients and also trying to widen our presence in Southampton itself!

Excellent fish and chips, Townhill Park has been missing a decent chippy for many years, but at last no more. Nice crispy batter on the fish, and perfectly cooked chips. 10/10
Previously bought form this place my family. It is a a lovely place to visit the staff are. Really friendly. And nice to talk to. The food is amzing the burgers are made fresh chips also I highly recommend the homemade chicken burger. If you like a bit off spice the chips looked like they would be hard but soon as you bite in to them they are soft. The prices are cheap also.

Very nice fish and chips, and very fair prices. 6 meals and extras was around £45 which we thought was very good. Chips lovely, every order was correct and staff very nice.
Really tasty food with quick delivery. Slight issue with the portion sizes but quickly and satisfactorily rectified. Thanks.
Get our fish and chips here every week cause they are superb. Best chips ever and fish cooked fresh for you. Run by lovely people too. Unfortunately several months later and the fish is awful. Dry and rubbery. Such a shame.

We are very lucky to live a few minutes drive from this place. By far the best fish n chip shop in the area. Friendly staff, huge portions, even a lemon wedge garnish..
We drive 25 minutes all the way from Eastleigh for these chips, and so do my parents once they tried the fish and chips here, absolutely outstanding! Insanely crispy chips, only comparable to an award winning fish and chop shop in Westbourne I used to go to. This place should enter for an award.
Best fish and chip shop in the area! We can easily split one large chips between 3 adults and a child and still be stuffed! Only place we order from now.
