This historic Grade II listed building is nestled on the edge of Royal Victoria Country Park in Hamble which boasts beautiful views and extensive grounds. Victoria House was linked to the main Royal Victoria Hospital in the Crimean war where the house formed a pivotal part of the hospital after the injured soldiers who returned form the war. The house was built in 1866 and remains virtually unchanged to this day. In 1980 the Police bought the site and turned it into the Police training school. During the refurbishment of Victoria House, extensive works were carried out to renovate and bringing the building back to its formal glory.

Rownhams House is a beautiful Georgian House, situated in 12 acres of gardens and woodland with its own magical lake, Gothic style coach house and Grade II listed ice house. With good access to the M27/ M3 motorways ( 45 mins from the M25) Rownhams is conveniently situated for: London and the South, including Winchester, Southampton, Romsey, New Forest, the South coast and the surrounding Hampshire villages. It has plenty of private parking ideal for vehicles, caterers and trucks. Hidden behind trees, woodlands and an ancient garden wall, an almost forgotten world survives within an atmosphere that has been described as “quite magical”. Rownhams House is managed by its owners who are passionate about the place. The warm, old fashioned friendliness has gained the house very many friends over the years.

Held my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding reception at Rownhams House on 16th July. An absolutely beautiful venue. Everything was perfect. Nigel and Helen were so helpful with the preparations and their guidance and tips were invaluable. We really couldn’t have choose anywhere better for such a special day and we have had so many of our guests compliment us on the venue.
After 2 covid cancellations we finally had our wedding at Rownhams House in April. We had the most fantastic day (despite the snow 🤣) the venue is absolutely beautiful and gives you a lot of freedom to make your wedding day very much your own. Nigel and Helen were amazing- so supportive throughout our various cancellations, and so helpful leading up to the day and on the day itself. Their experience really stands out and they help to make the day run smoothly. Thank you both so much.
What a sweet couple! I recently had my wedding this autumn at Rownhams house if you are looking for a hidden away cute Manor House this is the place for you! We can not thank you enough of how Nigel and Helen took care of us and our guests on our wedding day thank you.

Jodie was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we began.
She listened to what we wanted and made it happen, and it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. The flowers were stunning, the table decorations, the ramp decorations, the lanterns, the aisle and even down to her helping us make a U shaped table possible- was all perfect.
I attempted a wedding fair at the holiday inn and event Themes immediately caught my eye the table display looked beautiful and I knew I I wanted them to decorate our venue. Unfortunately our wedding got cancelled three times down to covid but jodie was amazing and kept in contact with me all the way through. On our wedding day the room looked incredible, the attention to detail was spotless and I couldn’t of been more happy it was perfect. Thank you so much jodie for making my wedding dreams come true.
Jodie’s talent and skill is breathtaking. Her artistic arrangements are just beautiful and her ability to truly listen to her clients makes the displays and the work she produces so personal and unique. She very kindly did all the flowers for our recent wedding in Hampshire and the comments we had regarding our bouquets, table displays and more, were endless. Thank you Jodie, sincerely for being the amazing talented person that you are. You are truly brilliant.
